Your big day is of course all about celebrating the love between you and your new husband but you still want your friends and family to have the best time ever! So here are a few handy tips to make your wedding one to remember!
Keep it personal
From the vows to the stationary to the wedding program it makes such a difference if your guests feel they can learn a little bit about you and also keep their attention!
Create a hashtag
There are a lot of wedding photo apps which let you upload all of your guests photos in one place but an even easier way is to just create a hashtag for the day! Let your wedding guests snap away and at the end of the day you will have the most personal (and probably filtered!) album you could wish for.
Meet and greet
It may sound blindingly obvious but taking the time to thank and spend time with each and every guest will make them feel valued and a part of your day.

You can never over plan a seating chart
No matter how big or small your wedding is its important to create a plan that sits people you think will get on next to each other. Try to group people of similar interests and backgrounds together and you may end up creating some new friendships or even another future wedding!
Its open bar or no bar
An open bar can of course become pricey but there are ways around it, maybe just offer wine and beer? Do your own shopping and find the best deals rather than rely on the venue. Or offer just a few cocktail options, try your best to keep your guests wallets shut!
Keep them comfortable
Not every wedding guest will want to dance the night away, some may be quite happy to just sit and catch up with their nearest and dearest. Create a comfy designated area for them and lower the music, it’s a nice little touch that would not go unappreciated.
Keep those speeches short
A long speech can certainly drag, however heartfelt! Keep the toast brief, the speeches snappy and have your DJ ready to make a respectful cut off if necessary.
Take requests
It may sound like the ultimate DJ faux pas but nothing will get your guests on the dance floor more than hearing their jam! It also helps to keep the night personal.
Keep their phones charged
Of course you want your guests to be present in the moment with you but phones are a modern necessity. They’ll also struggle to make those aforementioned instagram snaps without battery! Create a battery charging station and your guests will feel very appreciative and cared for, plus it’s a great way to promote your wedding hashtag!
Late night snacks
Keep your friends and family going through the night with tasty late night treats like sliders and fries and coffee and donuts, that’ll keep those revellers revelling up to the last minute!
Give a wedding favour people will actually want
Nothing is more sickening than spending money on favours and seeing them left on the table at the end of the night. Mini bottle of champagne, tasty snacks for the journey home or a small luxury jam will offer them something they will use.
Go out with a bang!
No one wants their night to end but since it has to end it on a high! Make it fun and memorable like a firework show, sparklers or a group activity – your guests will love it and it’ll make for some great photo opportunities!
